Last Minute Really Simple New Years Look

This is the look! Silver, frosty eyes and blushy cheeks(:

The first step is the eyes. First, take DOT lengethining and volumzing mascara and apply. Then, use LUXE Purple Soil Eye Dust and apple to the outer half of the lid. Third, go over it with LUXE Cloud Dancer Eye Dust to make it more of a silver color. After that, add DOT Ash Blue Eyeshadow in the very outer edge. Add DOT Arctic Ice Eyeshadow into the inner corner and by the tearduct, and then add DOT Melting Ice Eye Pencil under the silver eyeshadow. Lastly, line the lower lashline with DOT Black Fluid Liner.

For cheeks, start by swirling DOT Warm Apricot Blush and then adding DOT Pink Sand Blush as a highlight. Next, apply DOT Fusion Coral Blush under the Pink Sand Blush. Lastly, add a touch of LUXE Lipgloss.

10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2010

Hey Everyone!
Today I decided to do a 2010 favorites post, which is pretty much just me showing you the makeup items I liked the most the whole year of 2010.
I hope you enjoy this!

The first makeup item is a blue mascara. This is one from DOT that I'm pretty sure you can still buy in the store. This mascara gave my lower lashes a pop of color in the fall when I wore nude looks. I really love it and I would recommend everyone to try it!

The next makeup product is a lilac eyeshadow. This is from the brand L'OCCITANE. The eyeshadow color is very sheer and very buildable among colors. I think everyone should have at least one purple eyeshadow color in their makeup collection.

The third item is an apricot/orange shadestick that I fell in love with in the summer. I included it in tons of my makeup looks because the color was so sheer and looked so gorgeous. It's also not a bright orange color, which makes it a lot more wearable.

I have another purple eyeshadow for the 4th item. I used this a lot in the spring for light lilac smokey eyes. I literally wore that look for atleast a month before changing it because I loved it so much!

For the 5th item I chose a light muted pink LUXE sparkly eyeshadow. I wore this a lot in the summer with darker pinks. It looks amazing. I know lots of people think LUXE is too sparkly, but if worn right it can look beautiful.

The next item is this pretty apricot blush color. I really like how natural looking this blush looks on the tan skin. It could almost be used as a bronzer, which I did during the summer.

This is one of my most recent favorites, since you want it to look like your a bit cold in the winter. This pink blush looks amazing on your skin and is also very sheer so you don't look like a clown. If this blush is applied correctly, you'll achieve a look close to natural.

This lipgloss is one of those products I absolutely cannot live without. I was so glad they came out with the LUXE collection in the summer and this is the main reason why. The lipgloss completes many makeup looks.

I know you're going to be thinking, a dark purple lipstick color?! No way! And I'd have to agree with you, if you where to wear it on its own. But, recently I found that this lipstick color, if worn under light lipstick colors, can really transform the whole color itself. You should really try it some time!

For item number 10, I went with a really light pink lipstick color. On some skin tons this will probably clash and look super light. When you apply it, it looks almost like a white pink, which to me is a little too light. So, I used the darker purple lipstick underneath it. I love the combination!

Makeup Must Have

I was looking through LUXE to find some new purchases, and I came across this sparkly eye shade that I used in my New Years tutorial. This is eyeshadow gives a very frosty look and could be very festive if you used it for New Years. I have an example of it above. It's obviously not how I would wear it, I was just showing the color it gives off. This is 2 layers.

While it is on the epensive side, I'd say it's worth it.

Makeup Must Have

One of the makeup items I believe you need to have this winter is some type of white liquid liner. Here I'm using DOT's Arctic Ice liquid liner, which is like an off-white color. It looks amazing and is perfect to acheive that icy winter look. It also makes you look like your more awake.

Sparkly New Years Eve Look

This is the final look. I think, since this look could be the centerpiece of your outfit, you could wear a simple black dress and silver accesories. Or, you could tone down the colors a bit and focus more on your outfit or a statement necklace.

This first step is the base of your look. First add LUXE Twilight Blue Eye Dust onto the outer half of both lids. Then add LUXE Cloud Dancer Eye Dust onto the inner half of your lid. Use DOT White Collection Eye Pencil into the inner corner, by your tearduct. Then add DOT Black Eye Khol underneath your bottom lashes.

For the second step, take DOT Ash Blue Eyeshadow and place it in the center of your lids, right where the two LUXE colors meet. Make sure to blend it out so it doesn't look too harsh, and don't make it look to muddy. Then, use both Lengthening and Volumizing Black Mascara.

For the last step, I added fake eyelashes, but obviously this is optional. After that, add some DOT Pink Legacy blush. Then, add a tad bit of LUXE Lipgloss to finish it off. Your done!

A Great Gown

When I saw this dress, I knew I just had to feature it! It looks so gorgeous on and off your medoll. I think it makes you look like a goddess! This is definatly labeled a must have for me!

7 New Years Dress Idea's

I really like this color combination. Silver and Black look amazing together, and will definatly turn some heads.

I think this New Year's dress is perfect because it draws attention to your waist and shimmers. I always associate the color gold with New Year's.

This sheer golden dress accentuates the bust area and brings out your curves.

A dress like this looks girly but also mature with its use of colors.

This is more of a sweater dress that looks really pretty with the gold and turqouise colors. I would pair this look with leggings or tights.

A purple dress is something everyone should have in their closet! Purple is a very calming color and this dress looks so pretty with the detailing.

If all else fails, go for the simple black dress! Plain black dresses give you so many possiblites so you can be creative! Mix it up with sweet shoes, cute accesories, or an amazing hairdo.
